We are am independently owned music school that firmly believes that there is no such thing as one-size-fits-all. We believe in a student-focused educational process that is designed to encourage and support rather than discourage and break down. True, healthy, consistent growth is born within a player’s personal love and commitment to the learning process. This is what we focus on nurturing at Ruby Music Academy.

We want to strengthen the musician you already are to help you grow into the musician that both we and you know you can be! Every skill can be improved, honed, and expanded so we have a way to push your skill’s limits no matter where you’re currently at!
Meet Our Team
Wesley Ruby
Wesley Ruby is a music educator, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and audio/recording engineer from Los Angeles, CA. His academic background is in Classical Guitar:
BA in Applied Music Performance, Classical Guitar (Pepperdine University)
MM in Music Performance, Classical Guitar (California State University Fullerton)
For years Ruby has performed across the US in venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall. Wesley Ruby has appeared vocally and instrumentally on 3 albums, 2 EPs, and 2 singles as well as worked as producer on 2 other albums.
Ruby currently serves as the Music Teacher and Worship Band Director at Hillcrest Christian School in Thousand Oaks, CA as well as the Director of Worship Ministry at Long Beach Church in Long Beach, CA.
